Countdown Begins

As I am watching the Ohio State vs. Texas Tostitos Fiesta Bowl (go Texas!) I cannot help but get excited for the last MacWorld.  Even though Steve Jobs will not be giving the keynote, I still find every MacWorld interesting.  MacWorld 2009 will begin at 11 AM central time.  I will be following MacWorld 2009 via a live blog mostly interested in Snow Leopard.  Hopefully Apple will come out with something that surprises everyone and gets the Apple community's minds off Steve Jobs health and the end of MacWorld.

On another note, I have decided on my goal for the 2009 year.  I am going to try and become more environmentally friendly.  About three years ago I purchased a SIGG bottle and have love it; the water never tastes old!  Just by using my SIGG bottle I no longer need to contribute to all of the plastic water bottle waste that has been piling up.  I know I am making a huge impact, ha.  I encourage others to become environmentally friendly in any aspect.  For different ideas, ways, and products to become environmentally friendly you can visit www.weplaygreen.org.  Lake Superior State University would be proud of me right now.  At this point I must finish up as the University of Texas is starting to make me mad.  Cheers.

FYI

I would just like to inform all of my readers that I am using Twitter, and encourage others to do so as well...it's addictive.  http://twitter.com/AHarpoon22

Another product in which I would like to support is the Apple MacBook laptop.  I bought an Apple MacBook laptop computer in early December and just love it.  After using an Apple, I am not sure I would want to convert back to Windows.  Apple products tend to be a little more expensive, but they are well worth the extra money, from style to performance.  Plus they are green.

Good early morning to you!

No I am not just getting up.  I am sitting in bed just about to fall asleep...hopefully.  I am angry at myself for staying up until after 2:30 for two nights in a row.  Last night it was not too big of a problem mainly because I did not have to get up early (noon), but tomorrow I work at 10 AM, which means rising out of bed at 9 AM.  And yes again the PlayStation 3 kept me from hitting the sack earlier.  I did have big plans for my second posting on my blog today, but as time does not allow it, I will have to save my rant for another time.  But to give a hint about my special topic, it has to do with ESPN.  On a side note, congrats to Utah!  I did not expect a win at all from them, but was glad to see them beat Alabama.  However I was disappointed in seeing Texas Tech struggle with the defense earlier in the day.  The BIG 12 has not shown up yet again for the bowl games this year.  That only leaves Kansas and Nebraska as winners and Texas Tech and Oklahoma State as losers in bowl games for the BIG 12 so far.  Tomorrow my entry will be coming at a later time as I will be working from 10-2 at the liquor store and then immediately heading down to Vermillion, SD to watch the University of South Dakota men's basketball team in some action.  As a quarter till three roles around I better be heading to the Z land.  Cheers.

Batter Up!

It is very difficult to remanence about the day when I am being distracted by my brother (we will call him Michael) bowling on PlayStation Home.  What a great way to start off the New Year by starting a blog.  First things first, here is a little bit about myself.  To keep it short I am a BIG Cincinnati Reds fan, while also being a NBA fan in general.  As time goes by I begin to hate the NFL more and more.  If I must watch or follow the NFL I push for Dallas Cowboy success.  Aside from sports, I am in love with the PlayStation 3.  I play all sorts of video games hours upon hours of the day.  I purchased an Apple MacBook laptop and absolutely love it.  With all of these things in mind I cannot forget the biggest part of them all in that I am in my fifth and final year at the University of South Dakota.  I will be graduating this Spring with a Business Marketing degree.  Well as it is getting to be that hour, I think I will wrap up my final first blog entry.  As the days of 2009 go on you will learn more about me, my college life, and everything in between.  Cheers!
